October Eats

Yesterday, I bought my first pumpkin of the season, along with several cans of organic pumpkin for baking.
I'm planning to make some treats for our cousin-in-law who lives downstairs, and my heaping supply of fall recipes is overwhelming. Here are a few inspiring pics, featuring one of my all time favorite ingredients: the pumpkin.

    mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! pumpkin cheesecake!! i seriously cannot wait for it, nikki. that stupid cupcake i ate yesterday had a little gummy lemon on the top just like that cute pumpkin one up top. i swear those things are like bait!

    I've never tried pumpkin pies or muffins before. The only pumpkin I've eaten has been roasted or in a soup. I'm allergic to pumpkin now, and I miss it so much!
