Beauty Secrets

Happy Friday!
I came across this article in the archive of the LA Times, with an all-out guide to creating perfectly rimmed lids.
I thought it was fantastic and wanted to share. Can't wait to try it out this weekend!

  1. This is a great post. I agree about the pencil liners and smudging. I actually buy my liquid kohl from India when I visit. But, I love that you posted about the Guerlain option. I have to place an order at Sephora so I might add this to the list!
    thanks,

  10. I love this look, it never goes out of style. I can't live without my black eyeliner! I used to use gel eyeliner a lot when I worked at MAC but now I've become rather lazy and like the one from Chanel that (1) is a pencil eyeliner, and (2) doesn't need sharpening! But to wing it out you do need a liquid liner, I agree! Don't like the mascara, though, sorry :-( Anyway, thanks for your comment!

  12. oh my god! this post is geniusssssssssss! i have been a crazy cat eye addict ever since I can remember and Bardot is truly the Cat Eye Queen! Thanks for the additional tip! You know you can also get it tattooed...I mean it sounds cheesy but I got the semi permanent one 2 years ago and will soon go for a new one. Now its gone off so I am still using my eye liner but its really handy to wake up to it every morning and because it semi permanent its gone in 2-3 years!
